Budgets

The Croydon School District runs a fully transparent budgeting process each year.

1. Initial drafts of the budget are discussed during School Board meetings open to the public.
2. Once a draft is finalized by the School Board, a formal budget hearing is held for review and input by the public.
3. After making any final changes, the budget is moved to warrant articles for the Annual District Meeting.
4. The proposed operating budget, as well as any special warrant articles, are put forward to debate, amendment, and decision by the public at the Annual District Meeting.
