At Croydon Village School’s Early Learning Program, we recognize families as every child’s first and most important educators. We are dedicated to building strong, collaborative partnerships that honor your unique knowledge of your child, reflect your family’s interests and values, and support positive family interactions essential to your child’s growth and success.
We invite you to actively participate in your child’s learning journey through meaningful opportunities designed with warmth and flexibility:
- Share Your Insights: At the start of the year (and ongoing as needed), we provide a questionnaire to learn about your hopes, dreams, and aspirations for your child, as well as your observations of their strengths and areas for growth. This helps us tailor individual experiences and build on what your child already knows.
- Volunteer in the Classroom: Share your time and talents at school alongside your child, creating meaningful connections and enriching our community.
- Participate in Learning Events: Approximately once per trimester, join us for engaging evening gatherings where families connect socially, learn about child development, and participate in hands-on activities that provide ideas, materials, or experiences to extend the learning at home.
These partnerships strengthen the vital role of families in children’s development. We value your voice and expertise, working side by side to create motivating environments where every child thrives.
We look forward to partnering with you—please reach out to learn more about how you can get involved!
