On Thursday, December 18th, the students and family members of Croydon Village School had an opportunity to enjoy a comical rendition (for the most part) of “The Polar Express” with a little twist.
The students wore their pajamas to school and were excited to experience the reading of the Polar Express, which included a train (bus) ride from the school to the town hall. The event did not disappoint, despite the technical difficulties (the speaker for sound did not work, as well as our inability to connect to the town hall’s wireless). None-the-less, the event was wonderful with everyone having the opportunity to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie!
We thank our Santa and all of the parents who stepped up and added something else to their plate to make this evening a magical event.
The Polar Express Interrupted by the Grinch!
