  4. Public Hearing (2026/2027 Budget & 2026 Warrant Articles)

      1. Is PreK/K not required to have specials? No, it is built in to early childhood
      2. Why are 2 full time teachers needed for PreK/K? One is the K teacher, one is the part time PK teacher plus Special Ed teacher
      3. With only 2 teachers, what happens if someone calls out sick? Subs or Sue will step in as she is early childhood certified
      4. Warrant article for Capital Improvement – is the goal to have the balance at $42,000? Yes, we want the balance to maintain around $42,000 in that fund
  5. Discussion & Action
    1. 2026/2027 Budget & Warrant Articles
      1. Aaron motions to move operating budget as proposed, Amanda 2nd, all in favor
      2. Reduced capital reserve fund from $30,000 to $10,000
      3. Increased Special Ed trust fund from $20,000 to $30,000
      4. Aaron motions to move Article 3 as amended to the warrant article
      5. Aaron motions to move. Article 4 as written to the warrant article
      6. Aaron motions to move Article 5 as amended to the warrant article
      7. USDA Grant – School Board is allowed to accept grants at their discretion. Aaron motions to move Article 6 as read to the warrant. Amanda 2nd, all in favor
      8. Open Enrollment – Schools are being urged to put an open enrollment warrant out there because we do not know what will happen with the bill. Aaron motions to move article 7 as read to the warrant, Amanda 2nd, all in favor
      9. Aaron motions that school board recommends all warrant articles, Amanda 2nd, all in favor
  6. Public Forum (15 Minutes)
    1. Hope – Has been working on a committee for Special Ed Funding. Numerous bills to improve funding
  7. Upcoming Meetings
    1. Regular Meeting – February 17, 6pm
    2. District Meeting – March 14, 2026, at 1pm in the Fire Station
    3. Regular Meeting – April 21, 6pm
  8. Aaron motions to enter non-public under RSA 91-A:3 II (a), Amanda 2nd, all in favor
  9. Returned from nonpublic at 8:12pm
    1. Aaron motioned to seal minutes for 10 years.
  10. Adjournment
