Parade
Our Halloween route is changing. Due to the speed and volume of traffic on NH Route 10, we will NOT be parading along the road.
The staff and students will walk from school to the town hall through the woods and back to school. We will begin our parade at the Gaga Pit. Families and community members who are joining us to hand out candy may park in the school parking lot or the town hall parking lot. We prefer all adults who are handing out candy to stand along our wooded path or in the town hall parking lot. Everyone is welcome to join for the viewing of our costumes as we parade through the woods and back to school. Due to food allergies, we ask that any sharing of treats consist of store bought items (treats) ONLY that are labeled with ingredients. For the purpose of sharing: Mrs. Scanlon has 13 K-2 students and Mrs. McPherson has 15 students in grades 3 & 4.
All costumes must be school appropriate. Weapons and/or gore are not permitted. Since we are walking through the woods (just grass), please make sure your child’s costume is not dragging on the ground and if a mask is part of the costume, vision must not be difficult or blocked.
Classroom Celebrations
Our Halloween celebrations will be held in the classrooms in the morning. We will be celebrating together through learning centers with a focus on Halloween fun. Individual classroom dojo notices will be sent asking for party goods.
